21388:
It had all started on the day she met Penelope. Agatha was thirteen years old, and her music tutor had decided that the time had come for her to buy her first piano of her own. These were the days when the first motor cars were appearing on the streets of Validelene, and the ability to play the piano was still considered necessary for any young girl who hoped to become a lady. In the case of young girls who had no interest in becoming a lady, learning to play the piano was considered a just punishment.

21390. I actually just took speed not to get high but to make the healing from the surgery easier. I'm hoping the vasoconstriction helps for a certain problem I keep having with the wound during the night, just gotta hope my dose is on point. I need enough to cause significant vasoconstriction but without making me unable to sleep and I think there might be a fine line between those two.
I had the idea of using amphetamine even before the surgery coz I knew the healing process will be difficult (also quite long, about 5 weeks until im 100% normal) and when I was reading some reddit posts someone else had actually suggested using a small dose of adderall for this so maybe im onto something. Ofc no doctor would actually suggest this but im hoping it works.

21392. It's pretty different to study school subjects without feeling like you need to hurry and worry about deadlines. I just spent the last 7 hours reading chemistry using khan academy and it turned out to be pretty fun actually.
I first started with my dad's university organic chemistry book but even though there was a recap chapter that I managed to follow without big problems I decided to switch to khan academy because I actually want to get all the basics down properly before diving into organic chemistry. I think it's actually been like 6 years since I've last studied chemistry so I need to memorise all kinds of things again. But I do actually feel motivated about this which is great.

21394. My friend is planning to move to a ("hippie") commune with a bunch of people in their 20's and the place would be next to a lake but still not too far from the city centre and to me that sounds pretty damn cool. That'd probably mean I'd be visiting that place quite often which would be fun.
I've always liked the idea of sort of bohemian lifestyle anyway so it's great that I've managed to get closer to it while still keeping some distance.

21398. I think if I were predisposed to some serious mental disorder like schizophrenia it would've been triggered in these past few months already, so I guess it's good to know I'm able to handle stress without my mental health totally failing.
I started noticing some early signs of a mild psychosis at one point but I think that was normal considering how much speed, psychedelics and weed I was using while already being stressed. Back to good ol' alcohol now, at least until I'm stress free.

Another hospital visit, yay. When does this all end... I've been trying to avoid going to the ER all day but after 15 hours I still haven't been able to stop the bleeding so I guess I have no other option. It's not even bleeding badly, that's why I haven't gone yet but every time I take off the gauze it just starts again because there's a whole blood vessel on the surface of the skin so I basically have no other option but to burn it close. I was so pissed off about this earlier that I was already googling if I can cauterize it myself. But I quickly realised that burning it shut with a glowing metal myself isn't probably the smartest thing to do...

I do feel slightly more positive about this now though. Even with all this shit I think it's still slowly healing and these are just small, albeit annoying setbacks. I've been questioning why I've had to face all this stuff lately but I guess even if it feels negative there's still something you can learn from it.

201403. Finally back at my flat. It was funny that even the doctor seemed confused why it wouldn't stop bleeding even after cauterizing it and I was then almost giving her instructions myself coz I had witnesses the procedure before and she wanted to know if I know better how it should be done.
She was really nice though and seemed genuinely happy when it was all done. And another great thing was that when I had my panic attack last month I saw someone in the hospital and because I had taken psychedelics that night I didn't give her a very good impression because to her I was probably just some idiot who couldn't handle their drugs and I felt kinda bad about it afterwards (I think my worries were real but the drugs made it worse). Anyway, I think those two were the same person and it was nice to see her being so nice to me this time because now I can erase the bad encounter from my memory.
