So this song gets a lot of mixed reviews on this board..just wanted to see where it stands overall.
Personally, its in my top 10. Great music video + some of the best lyrics he's written imo + Liam sounds great.

I don't like giving songs ratings as I don't really think it means anything.
I do really like the song though. Sonically, there are so many subtle things going on which adds to its atmosphere and the melody is excellent. Probably the happiest song from the Giants era.
I think it was once described as a languid meandering river, which is pretty accurate.

I'll try with an album-based rating.
If I give 10/10 to Gas Panic! and 3/10 to Little James, I think I could give an 8/10 to Who Feels Love.
It can become a bit repetitive, but it has to be the most hypnotic track they've ever done. It's got a lot of layers, with lots of things happening in the background. Liam's vocals are good and suit the songs pretty well. And the live version was ace too!

About a 6.5 to a 7. One of the more interesting experiments they've done. Sounds like something Beady Eye would do, but a bit better.

Sounds nothing like a Beady Eye tune to me. I used to not care for it until after several more listens a while back, and now it's another strong track on the album. "Psychedelic and expansive" is what I like to describe it as. The acoustic version is amazing as well.

I love it. How could I rate a song? And in what context? It's not an exam, it's a song and I can't say anything more than that I like it more than most songs on SOTSOG and that I like it slightly less than Gas Panic!, Go Let It Out and all that.

It's a great song, and in my top 10 of Oasis songs also. There's a lot going on in the album version, and the production was nailed down perfectly to display all of that. I guess that's why I've never been quite satisfied with any of the live versions they did.

Great song. Had me in tears when I first heard it (Noel acoustic on Radio 1).

Ye the acoustic version is just as good imo. Nice replies btw keep them coming.
Tbh I thought this song wasnt as highly rated as it currently is - according to the scores you guys gave it.

Don't think I've listened to it since 2013. Boring song, not the Oasis I love at all.

I'd go 6.5. It sounds fantastic production wise but something holds it back. Maybe the double tracking of Liam's vocals? Not sure.

7-7.5 for me I think it's a good song and I love the acoustic version, but there are better songs on SOTSOG

"Sonically interesting" ie the new "production"

I give it about a 5. The instrumentation and production on the song is top notch, but the double tracked vocals of Liam and the dull lyrics + the dragged on duration of the song holds it back tremendously. Doesn't really sound like Oasis to me.

I really like this song. It's one of my favourites of SOTSOG era. I give it a 8 even if I think it's difficult to rate a song because it sometimes depends of the mood and a lot of other things. But I love that one, beautiful melody and lyrics.

7.5, so I went with 7. Good lyrics, slightly too long though.
"Now you understand that this is not the promise land they spoke of", is so politically relevant; love that lyric.

I really, really like it and I think it's a shame how Noel has seemingly shunned this song now,
During the build up of the album Noel was saying how proud he was of it and what an awesome tune it was. It's great on the album, it's great acoustically and great live. Great!!
