When is/was the single officially released? I know I will be able to hear Chasing Yesterday in 3 weeks time due to the album coming out a week early in Japan.

Damn, you're lucky man. How did you manage to stay away from it? I got into Oasis only a couple of years back... which isn't all too bad, considering how I turned 20 just this month. But as I do with all the artists I really like (and who have a huge body of work) - I don't binge on their material straight away. Spread it out, go forth in portions, so I can fully digest everything. I've only ever heard Revolution Song a couple of times, and I have literally no recollection of how it went (or if I even actually listened to it - just assuming cause I remember it was in my playlist once, but I genuinely don't remember really playing it.) |

Rob Britstore posted on Twitter that he has the ballad of the mighty i vinyl.. Should we expect to hear it soon if other people have the vinyl? That rob is fairly well connected, maybe he got an advance copy somehow. I doubt a leak is going to come through him to be honest. |

It's the most hokey song he's ever written. That being said, a more psychedelic twist on it would hopefully make it more tolerable.

I'm hoping for more space jazz here! The demo sounds like just another Noel Gallagher ballad. It needs some decent production.

If we lowered the scales on Heathen Chemistry and raised it to DM levels Revolution Song would be the Heathen Chemistry style equivalent song.

Judging from the album, I'd say Revolution Song will be a little faster and will definitely have the solo (which was the best part of the demo). This could turn out quite good...

Suuu-u-u-per excited to hear this song. It's downright EXCITING how many genuinely Oasis-sounding songs we have now. Reminds me of Noel saying that he writes songs that he likes but then scraps them when he hears Rock n' Roll Star on the radio. He's got his fire back.

23rd is the official release date. We got Do The Damage on YouTube way before ITHOTM was released though so who knows.
The leak will surely make it less likely were getting this one early I would think
