Next weeks NME, imagine it was an interview waiting to go but needed to be updated to include BE split?

NME doing a bit of recycling again? Sure that pic's from mid 2013 after BE came out, and Liam got bang into his coke and booze again

Then don't put him on the front, put someone with a new record out on instead, and just have a page or two dedicated to the Beady Eye break-up

Then don't put him on the front, put someone with a new record out on instead, and just have a page or two dedicated to the Beady Eye break-up I mean it will be more likely to be a new interview won't it as Liam hasn't been saying anything for them to put together. The cover was announced before Liam tweeted about the split right?

Obviously the NME sales have dropped so much that they've resorted to putting classic artists on the cover week after week to get people's attention. Bowie, Sex Pistols, the Smiths, Joy Division, Nirvana, Oasis, Libertines anniversary specials, week after week, over and over again! NEW musical express, so where's the new bands then?!
The reason being there's very few successful credible guitar bands that people have heard of and care about theses days I suppose, but NME should be trying to change that. We already have Mojo and UNCUT for the classics.

I reckon he came clean in the interview about the split, then had a word with NME and said let me Tweet it first before telling anyone, then you'll have the first scoop before some tabloid gets it out first.

Is the NME usually released in London on a Tuesday and everywhere else on a Wednesday?

I take my hat off to the NME, I didn't think they could pull it off tbh. They have managed to say NOTHING over 6 pages and pull together enough words about a man who has basically said nothing for months. Impressive.

that's all? I know why I can't get myself over to buy a NME anymore. without this forum it would be interesting, but they just warm up yesterday's dishes and leave more questions, than before. Although I like, that they show the way of "going in the desert with josh homme". This would be interesting.

NME don't even have their dates right! Beady Eye cancels Coachella in May 2014?!? More like February they cancelled, let alone the Coachella festival be in the beginning of April! Complete Rubbish!

That Josh Homme idea is absolutely class. I would love to see that happen.

If this magazine broadened their horizons instead of just covering (for the most part) every shitty three chord British pub bands all the time, then they might get somewhere.
It's a terrible paper, one that tries to be hip and fails massively. It's not even worthwhile toilet paper.

I sometimes enjoy their online columns, although they tweet about the same one so often that it becomes embarrassing.
