I'd just like to say that Chelsea vs Man United was a soulless, corporate, over-hyped and boring game of football.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Liverpool just lost to Aston Villa in the other FA Cup Semi Final. Arsenal should now easily lift the Cup when they face Villa in the Final on May 30th. This is the weekend that keeps on giving! #WengerIn

| FA Cup Winner | Scottish Cup Winner | 1913 | Aston Villa | Falkirk | 1957 | Aston Villa | Falkirk | 2015 | ? | ? |
Villa and Falkirk are both in the respective finals this year and neither have won it since 1957. There are powerful forces at work here. Forces even Herbalife couldn't begin to imagine.

Rodgers for the sack. That was woeful. No Champions League for you. Pochettino for the sack. No Champions League for you.

Rodgers for the sack. That was woeful. No Champions League for you. Pochettino for the sack. No Champions League for you. Fuck sake, is that the state of football that any aspiring club that doesn't get in the top 4 should sack their manager? Pochettino and Rodgers are good managers, it's simply that there are just richer, higher spending clubs above them. That is why they aren't in it at the end of the day. Makes you think about the Premier League - the last few years have become ridiculously corporate and it's become increasingly tiresome. It's not about the game anymore in England, hence their shitty national side while the FA makes profit. Arsenal are on the rise again by being able to compete with the other top clubs for big signings now, which I would be pleased with a few years back, but it's on the back of season tickets that cost an extortionate £2200. It's not about the fans or the actual game anymore. If any club summed this up perfectly it would be Newcastle. God I feel sorry for their fans - a profit making machine but the owner is intent on reaping all the money taken from have fans himself rather than reinvest in the squad which is what Newcastle fans want. Football isn't about the benefit of what happens on the field anymore or what the fans want, it's merely a business for a select few to make a few quid. Fuck Scudamore and his Premier League, fuck the FA and fuck Sky - bring in fan ownership to give the game back to them (it works in Germany with much better grassroots football and cheaper tickets). Do it for the whole of British football.

True, before the Premier League the national teams were still a load of rubbish like they are today, it's more an issue of coaching in the UK. But even then, it was more of a fans game, rather than a business like it is today. I'd love to see fan ownership, that has the potential to close the gap between the clubs and fans - the guys who set up FC United of Manchester had the right idea and I hope they succeed. I don't believe they 'betrayed' Man Utd, rather that Man Utd betrayed them. That's not a dig at United, because Arsenal, Liverpool, City, Cheslea etc are all the same in that they have screwed the fans over in recent years.

Arsenal vs. Chelsea. Massive match - a win puts us just seven points off the pace, but with only five game left to play. While we wont stop the chavs from winning the league, I'd still would love to smash them. Come On You Gooners!! #COYG

Despite the goalless draw, I'm really proud of the lads. At least we actually play football. Boring, boring Chelsea.
Without being able to create much, I actually thought we looked quite dangerous. Solid defensive performance, too. I think we'll be in serious contention next year.
Oh and LOL Man Utd.

Says it all really.
Overall, the Premier League has been eye-bleedingly dull this season.

really wish the premier leauger would take a winter break , think it would benefit the cl clubs and europa clubs and make the run in better quality footy as players will be fresher , but the allmighty dollar will prevent this from happenning

You may have found them boring but they were playing for themselves and their fans. Who will be happy that they are going to win the league. I expect many arsenal fans would take winning the league over beautiful football.

No one will remember this Chelsea team, despite its title win. Sad.

This chelsea team may not be remembered because chelsea will probably win the league a couple more times. It was the rarity of the achievement that makes the invincibles memorable. I personally prefer the team from 1998. And lets get this clear chelsea at times this season have played some excellent football but having got a lead they have taken their foot off the pedal. If they needed to do more they would. And arsenal were shit for a while this season and have turned it around.

25 years ago today Liverpool won the title. Won a number of trophies since including the champions league but not won the league since.
