"I don't even know what spotify is." - Liam Gallagher #FacePalm Don't know why he should? I wish I didn't know of these types of things tbh. I use them but they have contributed to me listening to albums less.

I use them but they have contributed to me listening to albums less. Besides it being an extremely popular music platform, Liam is a musician/artist. How does he not know what it is? I hope he is just being a tough guy and pretending he doesn't know it. It comes off as being naive. On the flip side you have guys like Thom Yorke, Nigel Godrich and the Black Keys waring with Spotify and educating people to it's evils with young/emerging artists.

I don't think its naive to have no interest in how the internet presents and sells music these days. Its just preference. Even if there music is on spotify its not really important that Liam knows about it.

I think it's quite clear from the interview that Liam was joking when he stated he didn't know what it is. He most likely doesn't use it obviously

Complaining about Liam not knowing what spotify is...while Noel can barely use a computer at all.

Vinyls are irrelevant nowadays, everything's digital :/ Vinyl sales are going up and up over the last few years. It's been relevant again for a few years now.

Just cause people buy them doesn't mean they are relevant, they are still nowhere near even CDs in sales. When they are selling them in supermarkets again I will eat my words.

all you youngsters out there should listen to one of your favorite bands on nice, clean vinyl thru a good set of headphones. once you do i guarantee you will never pay $$ to (legally) download an 'album' ever again.

I bought a shitty vinyl player. The cheapest of the cheap. Still fun to use, and doesn't sound that bad. I can easily see how spending an extra hundred or two for a good player would sound very impressive. Plus having the vinyl with the large cover art is just really cool. Much more satisfying than digital.

I personally prefer all physical musical format to digital......I'm kind of old fashioned maybe, but looking at my collection (vinyl and cd)gives me more satisfaction than scrolling through spotify..

I'm the same as yourself, I like the look of my CD's and records and enjoy the artwork and booklets. I will eventually buy a record player again at some point as I do miss having one. However I do use iTunes as there are occasions of digital only tracks and that's the only way to buy the songs. I have never used Spotify and to be honest I have no plans to either.
