was listening to Milk and Honey today, John Lennon's last studio album compiled after his death....and while 'Stepping Out', 'Nobody Told Me' and 'Borrowed Time' are amongst his best solo work, Yoko's songs are just fucking awful for the most part - luckily John didn't have to hear those final versions, wow....

this is the recipe for Elvis' favorite sandwich. Fool's Gold Sandwich
Adapted from Nick Andurlakis, serves 8-10 people, or Elvis.
Ingredients
1 foot-long loaf sourdough bread 2 tablespoons butter, melted 16 ounces creamy peanut butter 16 ounces strawberry jam (the original used Dickinson's blueberry preserves) 1 pound bacon DirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat the loaf in butter. Place on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes While the bread is in the oven, fry the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Slice the loaf in half lengthwise and hollow out the inside. Fill with an entire jar of peanut butter and an entire jar of jam. Top with bacon and put the top of the loaf back on. If you take all of John's DOUBLE FANTASY tracks (especially the mixes on the STRIPPED release) and mix them together with his MILK AND HONEY studio tracks you have yourself an absolutely great album. 01. George's son Dhani did something at Conan too. The Ballad of sir Frankie Crisp. It's amazing how much he sounds like his dad. Used to look a lot like him too, but I think he's starting to look more like his mom. Also inherited her hair it seems.
