Such a dark brilliant band. New album is out soon!
The Downward Spiral kick ass although some champion 'Pretty Hate Machine' as the perfect NIN albums.

Huge fan , met Trent when he was my best friends roomate at allegheny university , he studied there a year and.half I believe , , caught him with his band from Cleveland option 30 maybe option 40 ,I forget. He did only floyd covers and was amazing .... Had green hair wasn't into all black look yet but loved the darker floyd tunes .
I prefer downward spiral myself , but love all his work .

NIN is great. Ghosts is the last thing Trent's done that I really liked though... not into The Slip or How to Destroy Angels. He seems to be going for dryer, less spacious sound lately.

I think if Trent wanted to he could have been one of the biggest rock stars of all time. He writes songs that could have been big "pop" hits if he distanced himself from the industrial sound. I think a song like We're In This Together could have been a huge crossover hit but its just a liitle to hard & gritty for the maistream.

New album is streaming on iTunes This one really caught my ear. Surprisingly upbeat for Trent: Not sure where I'd rank the album, but it's definitely the best thing he's released in a while.

Picked up the deluxe edition in Golden Discs today. Early night with some hot tea and just immerse myself in the music.
