25 June 2013 12.32pm. Liam Gallagher has revealed that he does not even have his brother Noel's phone number. The pair - formerly bandmates in Oasis until their ongoing feud spiralled out of control - have not spoken since Noel walked out of the group in 2009. Liam, who now fronts his band Beady Eye, told Radio 5 Live's Phil Williams, he has nothing to say to his brother. Asked in an interview why he did not just phone him to talk things through, he said: "I haven't got his number." Liam also pointed out that he had no number for their older brother, Paul, even though they are still speaking. "I haven't got me other brother's number that I talk to, either. I haven't got many people's numbers," he said. Discussing the frosty relationship with Noel, Liam said: "I've got nothing to say to him. Not interested in the slightest right now." He went on: "I've not banished him. He hasn't seen my kids, I haven't seen his kids, and that happens when two people who are stupid talk s***e about each other. It's not like Noel's knocking at my door with a box of chocolates and a bunch of flowers going 'Speak to me' and I'm going 'No'. We're just not getting on at the moment."

Well that's a load of bollocks, didn't Liam go out with Noel's daughter on her birthday or something?

why do interviewers keep bringing up their relationship its like "if we ask the same question enough times we might get a different answer!" must be such a bore for liam/noel to get asked about it all time......just fuck off or ask a proper question.

Because it's an emotive subject for them and always produces emotive answers and quotes. A headline of "Liam has nothing to say to Noel" is going to grab more attention, generate more clicks and sell more copies than "Liam thinks his new album is good."

I can certainly understand that but then again how many times does liam have to say "I don't miss noel", "I have nothing to say to him", "I don't speak to him anymore" before people get the message and stop asking him what he thinks of noel?, I highly doubt anyone's going to click on this and saying "OMG liam doesn't like noel? well I didn't see that coming!" why not ask questions like which of noels songs do you like best? just something different to the same old "are you speaking to noel now?"

Wish Liam was like this in interviews when talking about Noel's stuff. Makes him come across so much better. Talks about Beady Eye from 10:25 onwards.
Love Liam and his outspoken views. But Noel seems to make out he cares.

I can believe Liam doesn't have any numbers. When Noel used to go on Russell Brand's radio show I remember him telling a story about Liam throwing his phone in the Thames because his manager kept ringing him and he didn't want to talk to him.

having seen/heard what johnny marr continues to go thru to this day- i can only hope for their sakes the questions end sometime soon. It will never end, not until they reunite. And even then, the questions will move from "are you getting back together?" to "are you gonna record a new album?" And if they do reunite and then go do solo stuff for a while, it will start all over again. The public's obsession with a Beatles reunion didn't end with John's death, it took George dying, and thus half the band being gone, for people to finally give up. I wish Liam had agreed to Noel's five-year hiatus plan (we're on year four of the split, as it is). We could still have had HFB and BDI, but without all the "reunion circus" around it all.
