It's not a spoiler if the episode has aired. Regardless, he didn't reveal anything in his comment. If you by some chance have not seen the episode, it's probably best to avoid places that you know people will be discussing the latest events of the show in. He mentioned a character which has yet to appear in the series... I don't think there was any need for it. For the record though, I've read the books.

What information can you divulge from "Lady Stoneheart"? If I were to say there was a character named Pippin in Lord of The Rings, does that tell you anything other than someone named Pippin will at some point show up? Of course not.

Would you have preferred I used a different, more recognizable one? Be thankful. Besides, there are so many plot lines and characters I can hardly remember everyones name as they come and go so often.

don't post details from the books you've been hinting at something for the past few pages quite often. I hate spoilers. btw, I just saw the last episode. Fucking hell. The first 40 minutes boring as fuck. I don't really care about B, C and D plots. From the Arya scene on it became interesting.

Word is it takes place mostly (or maybe entirely) at the wall. Supposed to be bigger than Blackwater. My fingers are crossed that it is.

The 9th episode has been the most exciting so far, probably be will this time too.

When Danni and Sir Friendzone broke up, Sansa looking like an adult coming down the stairs and of course as you mentioned everyones favorite buddy comedy Arya and the hound. Just glad to see these guys made up

Does anyone know offhand how many free cities there are? Presumably she is gonna free them all before going across the sea. 3 down...how many more to go? Don't expect anything from her storyline. It's the only way to avoid disappointment. It's pretty much more of the same. There are one or two things that happen alright but nothing to get overly excited about. The good stuff is all happening at the other side of the Narrow Sea for now. Whoa....spoiler alert!!! Come on now. I was expecting a lot. See it isn't hard to give shit away is it?

No different than people talking about a huge fight scene at the wall which may or may not be bigger than Blackwater Bay.

Well tbf we know there is going to be a fight at the wall. We've known about the invading forces from the north all season. Not the same thing at all as talking about a character that hasn't been mentioned on the show yet.

He only questioned when the character would arrive. That's completely harmless. Has a name really spoiled anything since we have no other information on the character? It's comparable to saying that someone named Fred will show up in season 5. Fred who? What does Fred do? Why is Fred important? Only the answers to those questions in relation to the name would anything then be spoiled.
It was blown out of proportion.
However, I'm betting that for anyone who isn't spoiled on the matter, is now awaiting to find out why the character will be important to the series.

I remember in the Walking Dead thread people posting about when the Governor and Michonne would arrive. Nobody got their panties in a bunch. I read casting news prior to this season starting and remember seeing a teaser with certain glimpses in it. Sue me. Just be thankful I didn't use that characters REAL name in the post. Then I'd agree with you, MAJOR SPOILER but since I didn't......no harm.....no foul.

Still yet to see past season 1, have to ask who the executioner of Ned Stark was?: Just the guy that does the normal executions in King's Landing, no one important I think. The sword he uses is Ned Starks monster greatsword that Ned uses in the first episode to execute the Nights Watch deserter. I didn't realize that until this season.

I think the key to this scene is that Joffery completely ignores Ned's ethos from the first episode of the series. Ned was a very noble character. One of the few in that world.... "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. If you would take a man's life, you owe it to him to look into his eyes and hear his final words. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the man does not deserve to die.”

What's great about this particular scene is that although Tywin's being completely honest, his intentions are malign. He wants Tommen in his control.

I also feel that Jon Snow is also the most noble man going in that world. He possesses a lot of Ned's honor and courage. A true protector of the realm.
