I'll be there! Saw him in Philadelphia last time around and had a nice group of people meet before the show. Shall we organize something?

Are you local to DC? I'm coming in from the Pittsburgh area. Gotta be a decent bar near the theater right?

Will make it 4 for 4 b/w Beady Eye and Noel on their Washington/Philly gigs.
Not been to the Warner. The old theaters, the seats are small, the rows are narrow. I had 12th row, dead center for Noel in Philly, and it wasn't enjoyable all sardined in there. I moved to the wing and really enjoyed the rest of the set.
As usual, I'm in the market for a single ticket for this show if anyone has one up for grabs. A good pair went up on Craigslist today, $240 for ORCH Row D.
I'm a Chicago bred street-ticket market man. Went to the Kasabian gig last night on an under face ticket. Awesome show. Had seen those guys opening up for Oasis on a few stops in 2005, seen 'em open for The Music, and they came to a TINY, 200 person club in Central Missouri for a gig that was mental and more than proved they were willing to rock anywhere.
For the gig itself, should be the normal Noel show. I find I have more enjoyed Beady Eye's venue choices for standing gigs, and their being a band we recognize.....vs Noel's stately theaters and session musicians.
This is getting close to my 20th Gallagher brother gig over a span of 14 years. The ONE thing I wish they did more of, that I see other artists do quite often (including Kasabian last night), is acknowledge the crowd more. Liam nor Noel never beckon call their thanks on the upper reaches of wherever they're playing. Noel does more specific conversing than Liam, but its as if the crowd doesn't exist beyond the first 10 rows.
Haha. I'm really looking forward to it the gig nonetheless. And the hunt for a ticket. Previous gigs I was harboring everyone on every Oasis board if they could hook me up with some shrubbery. Well, I'm in a better state, and can return the favor should anyone have the need for treez. Sorry for being a solicitor, but I'm 2 years "sober", aka no alcohol. So, I don't hit the bar meet-ups.

Where's everybody staying? Not sure yet if I'll be staying the night or driving out after the show. I suppose spending the night would probably be advisable...

I've got no idea. DC isnt someplace I'm too familiar with. Open to just about anything walking distance to the theater.

There's The Hamilton at 14th and F, it doesn't have a jukebox, but it's decent and close to the venue. Kind of a yuppie-NoVa-suburban vibe here.
Another option is Laughing Man Tavern, which is more of a sportsbar I believe. at G st between 13th and 14th.

Anyone know what the set list is going to be since DC is his first gig on the Spring tour?
Obviously the same, for the most part, as the November tour, but he's made changes in recent months in the European cities: Will he keep Whatever? Will he bring back Wonderwall? (Probably, this is the US, after all....). Do we have a chance at D'Yer Wanna be a Spaceman?
Thoughts?
I guess for once, we may be kept guessing - highly unusual position to be in regarding Oasis-related concerts!

Was wondering about the set list too. I'd love to have Listen Up make an appearance.

I checked out the laughing man tavern. Thier jukebox has no oasis and the bar is prety small. Doesn't seem like the rigt place to go. I lso stopped by the exchange which hs a juke box with everything from rock and roll star to these swollen hand blues. Very spacious bar. I talked to the owner and he wants us to come and will work with u to give us an are of the bar. Its a few blocks away, right by the whitehouse. Still very close to the waner
