you going to that too? Im expecting another south florida date to be announced. The new Marlins stadium would be great it holds only 37000. I would love to see an open air concert. only problem is money is real tight right now. cant afford another show.

Been listening to a lot of Springsteen lately myself, really loved The River and Nebraska. Wrecking Ball is awesome too, probably my favourite album of his so far. I might tackle Born To Run also soon.

The others I passed on , that's my Bruce that decade there , great live lp IMO I made a playlist on Spotify for you. It contains tracks from the Promise and the Tracks boxset. The Promise are out takes from Darkness... some of the songs he had to re-record because the demos were unusable. Some are different versions of songs on DOTEOT and some are songs never released. The tracks boxset is bsides and tracks never released. Most of the songs on disc two of tracks were written for the River and IMO are better than a lot of the tracks that made the album. These are thirty songs out of the 77 that are on those six discs. So if you like these there are other great songs that are on those albums. The 75-85 is great but they missed out a lot like Prove It All Night from 78 and Lost In The Flood from 75 and was a little BITUSA heavy

Nebraska 5. Born in the USA ( Yes the synthesizers make the album sound outdated and musically its sounds his most upbeat record but listen to the lyrics. Vietnam, working on a chain gang, prostitutes, divorce, depression, racial tension, and towns being destroyed. There is some dark stuff here dressed up in pop songs) 6. The River 7. The Wild and Innocent 8. Greetings (would be higher but I loathe Mary Queen of Arkansas and the Angel 9. Magic- His best album since the 80's 10. The Rising ( I listen to it every 9/11 and it still gives me chills it's just a little long

I might tackle Born To Run also soon. Wrecking Ball is real good just not in my top ten. It's funny to see a song thats written about a stadium being torn down also used as an allegory of a man getting older.

Too bad you dont know how to downlaod There are some really good bootlegs from 75 and 78 Someone uploaded one of my favorites on youtube 1975 Live at Main Point The concert Prove It All Night is from a bootleg call Prodigal Son at Winterland Ballroom from the Darkness tour. Its probably the quintessential live recording of the band.
