Let's be honest, Beady Eye have sold next to nothing here and they would be making a loss if they came to play shows here to 500-1000 people. At least Noel is well known as the respected songwriter of Oasis, most people wouldn't even know there is a member of Oasis in Beady Eye...let alone the less talented Gallagher.

They could play my local festival to get people to actaulyy buy the fucking tickets, but since the festival is run by two vehement Liam Gallagher haters, no.

I find it amazing, Liam Gallagher was the biggest rock star on the planet in 95/96 and now since oasis broke up people dont know who he is.... there should be sold out gigs in aus, though noels have been sold out fast, who knows if beady eye would as well...
but they do need to start playing some oasis songs, its time...

Err, their album wasn't even promoted out here, only a couple of songs were even played on the radio (The Roller being one I remember). There is some weird thing out here where all of a sudden no radio station will play much Oasis or Oasis related material any more.
I didnt even bother buying the album locally, I ordered it from the Beady Eye site. I do remember seeing one interview in the Herald Sun where Liam said he would love to play the Big Day Out. Looks like Noel stole his thunder.
