Apologies if this has been posted before, but I'd never seen or heard of this before today. Was pretty startled to find it, great version which was apparently played at the Dublin Olympia on the same tour Days Of Speed was recorded on in 2001 I'd be very interested in hearing the recording of this gig if anyone has it. If not you can find this song on a bootleg called Slow Time Mondays, which can be downloaded from here: paulsbootique.blogspot.com/2011/07/2001-slow-time-mondays.html

Meh. Not really impressed. There's no emotional impact that the original and Noel versions have. None whatsoever.

Not bad, prefer Noels acoustic version in Chicago though... sounds mega.

Wow. This is, in my honest opinion, simply awful. He has put a 'different slant' on it but I could only listen up until the very first 'now that you're mine'. Cements my opinion that Paul Weller is an awful singer. I expect to be slagged off for this opinion so do your worst
