It must be one of the best version of If I Had A Gun we've heard so far. In my opinion. Noel's singing is perfect, and I love when we can here the piano.

One of the few times that he's sung the "for my heart to be unbroken by the seams" bit well. He usually has trouble with that. Pulled it off this time fairly well.
Yeah it's the best performance he did on tv. I wonder why his management sent him to that show though, it's more of a show for old(er) people here really. Well maybe that's the audience they're trying to reach...
I think we're all in agreement that's the best fucking acoustic performance of If I Had A Gun we've seen. Bossing the Harrington out n all.
For the longest time, I was thinking that this IIHAG performance reminded me of an Oasis performance, but I couldn't figure out which one.
It just hit me now: This IIHAG clip has all the emotion, sentiments, and sound of that acoustic Where Did It All Go Wrong performance from Jools Holland....
They're currently using the intro to Everybody's on the Run for the Cheltenham festival, the biggest racing meet in the UK and the Gold Cup is the second biggest race in the UK.
Mark Lawson Talks to... BBC 4 Friday 30th March 2012 11:20 pm to 12:20 am
Mark Lawson talks to former Oasis lynchpin Noel Gallagher about his life, career and becoming one of the most successful songwriters of his generation. In this fascinating interview Noel talks frankly about his acrimonious relationship with his younger brother, the Oasis front man Liam. He explores his violent relationship with his father, his persistent truancy as a schoolboy and the fact that he was considered a weirdo because of his passion for music. In 1991 he joined his brother Liam's new band, Oasis, where he established himself as the main songwriter. Their debut album Definitely Maybe went straight to number one on initial release and became the fastest selling debut album of all time. Fuelling the Britpop movement, Oasis quickly became one of the biggest bands of the decade and, despite obvious tension between the Gallagher brothers, stayed together until 2009. Since then, Noel has formed his solo project, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
This'll be a great interview, for anyone who remembers the Parkinson interview a few years ago, it'll be in that vein.

themasterplanet: A Northern Soul by The Verve! My second favourite album by them. I love the atmosphere of it, it’s very dreamy and melancholic and dark. It holds many memories for me and I think that’s partly responsible for why I love it so much.
