Sounds great. Has there been any more news on Beady Eye doing the soundtrack?

Just that it will be mainly instrumental and experimental. And therefore, slagged to death on here.

I have to admit to being a bit Skeptical about this at first but it's shaping up to be really good.
Still think it's really cheeky that BDI are doing the soundtrack though - didn't the Beatles write enough good tunes for their own film!?
Psychedelic instrumentals - sounds cool though, I can image them pulling off the 60s style material very well. Can someone provide a link to where this was mentioned?

I would imagine it is extremely expensive to use Beatles' songs in films. I can't even think of that many movies that even feature an actual Beatles song besides their own movies.
- Can't Buy Me Love (Can't Buy Me Love) - The Social Network (Baby You're A Rich Man) - Dinner For Schmucks (Fool On The Hill) - Bowling For Columbine (Happiness Is A Warm Gun) - Ferris Bueller's Day Off (Twist and Shout)
That's all that come to mind.

Andy Bell mentioned it in some interview in another thread on here. I'd search for it and post it but my laptop is a fucking tortoise. Have a looksy, it shouldn't be too hard to find as it was re-posted very recently.

Cheers, found it Thuperthonic:
(translated by Google fro French)
On the soundtrack of "The Longest Cocktail Party", can we know a little more?
"It's on. All efforts around the development of this documentary is under way. Liam is back on the project. Once everything is set and the time comes to write the songs we will record as much as it takes. This soundtrack is instrumental only or, if the votes, it will be just words thrown here and there, with effects ... It will be quite experimental, different from what is usually done in the studio. In this regard, we do not know yet where we will register but it will certainly be in London. "
