You've heard every track here first as our Album of the Day Plus. Now Noel Gallagher joins Steve to talk about his debut solo album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds', which is released next Monday. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b015tvtm

Sorry. How do we know they are playing the whole album front to back?
Is that the format of the show?

No, they're gonna play it back to front. Or just shuffle up the tracks, like.

I mean that nowhere does it say in that blurb that they are going to play every track on the album.
I looked up this program and saw the one where the Klaxons were featured. It only shows them having played 1 Klaxons track off the album. So it can't just be the format of the show
It says something about us having heard every track first as their album of the day plus. That's past tense. Maybe he meant they they played all the singles that Noel has come out with? The interview is referred to in present tense. That blurb DOES NOT say specifically that they are going to be playing the whole album on that show for us.

how it reads it seems to mean that next tuesday Noel's album will be the R6 album of the day.
I would guess throughout the day each show will probably play a different track.
Then Noel will speak about the album in that show? They quite often do full album play backs of albums but that doesn't seem like that in that show?

It says something about us having heard every track first as their album of the day plus. That's past tense. Past tense from the time of the show. The key part is "as our Album of the Day". Says to me that they'll play all the songs throughout the day, and then have the Noel interview on Lamacq's show in the evening, maybe even live in the studio. As jaq515 says, really. Do 6 Music often have full album playbacks then?

That's what I was asking.
I live in Canada. I have no idea how BBC6 operates so I didn't know what the hell the album of the day means for that station. Coulda been another show for all I know.
Thanks for the answer
In which case it isn't front to back which is what I was asking.

Doesn't seem to me like they'll play the whole thing, but what do I know?

if you look at a different show that day i.e
sean keavney the blurb says he will be playing new tracks by Noel.
so it seems like the album will be split through out the day
