Excellent news!!
I will upload it if I find it in Madrid (not really hard indeed...)
EDIT: It is said "The plenitude after Oasis. Another prominent member of the exciting club (the 40s years old club)."

An Afghanistan Rolling Stone has apparently been spotted with what looks to be Noel's face on it.

He will also be on the cover of the German RS... painted by Klaus Voormann. Wow, that's actually THE Klaus Voorman of Beatles fame. Noel seems to attract a fair share of artists. Was reading an article in a Sunday Supplement magazine on the artist David Bailey and it showed his portrait of Noel. I suppose an iconic man like himself deserves it all.

Just got mine and made some HQ scans www.megaupload.com/?d=5KA5LFORI would translate it but there's nothing we haven't read before. Same story about the break up, beady eye comparisons, Noel being a father and worried about first solo gigs. These are the only interesting bits: - He is really proud about SOTSOG lyrics, he says there are sincere and tried to reflect the feeling that everything surrounded him was falling apart (Creation Records, Meg, drugs...). - HFB lyrics talk about running away (we already knew that) the theme starts with EOTR, follows with SOTWB that it's about arriving to a place that you thought it would be nice but once you're there you find out that maybe the place where you initially were wasn't that bad after all and ends with STC that talks about returning to the starting point. - Soldier boys and Jesus freaks is about soldiers that are sent to war in the name of god. He says lyrics are serious but the melody is quite happy. - About the AA record "Is not dance music, is not electronic. It's something naughty, different." But he says the HFB record its more important to him. - Doesn't miss Liam not only as a singer but also as a person. - He told the same story about that MG 20th aniversary tour and says it's not going to happen since Oasis doesn't exists anymore, but later he's asked about what he thinks he would be doing in 5 years and he answers: "I'll probably still be promoting the MG 20th anniversary but not with Oasis." They give the album 3 stars out of 5. Nothing new, they say Dream On sounds like what you expect of Oasis and SOTWB is very repetitive. They also comment that production isn't really great and that the drums and strings are almost the same on the whole album.

Thanks for the scans, morning rain. He will also be on the cover of the German RS... painted by Klaus Voormann. I just bought my copy of this month's German RS today. Haven't looked inside yet, but I do like this cover. Something different.

They also comment that production isn't really great and that the drums and strings are almost the same on the whole album. That sounds exactly like what i fear the album might be like. Still very much in doubt how it will turn out. The positive reviews just seem too positive. I know that Stop The Clocks and Record Machine are not the best songs Noel has written since MG, and i've got a feeling that the positive reviews are a bit like when BHN came out - everybody's been waiting for a NG solo album, so the critics are very positive. Still,Everybodys on the run will be massive, just hope the album doesn't drown in IIHAG production. I still wonder how Noel can record a b side like I'd Pick you everytime so cool, and the have an a-side that sound a bit rubbish..
