Nice one mate, with it being Jo hopefully it will be more music based about the new album than any kind of banter

Noel's making the rounds. Nice to see him more and more. He's really picked up the interviews. Seems like there's one every day, or every other day.

It will be nice to hear a live version of TDOYAM in a session on the radio or on a tv show, although i have got the feeling he is playing this single down a bit and will really go to town on the 2nd pre album single (if there is one) Really enjoying it all though, glad he is finally treading the water with todays technology

I think he's saving the live sessions for when he has a few more songs to choose from.
Radio sessions don't usually have artists in for several live sessions for a single new project. It'd be waste to do one now. I hope he does a Jo Whiley live session in the same spirit as the one he did around DOYS. 3 tunes in a stripped back semi-acoustic style. I think he'll be doing one with steve lamacq later on. They hinted @ it @ the end of the interview yesterday. The good thing about Noel is that he can go and do acoustic live sessions without anyone else.
I agree that the biggest promotion is going to happen around the time of the release of the album and the single that comes out close to it. But I am impressed with the amount of promo he is doing for this single. It's way more than BDI have given any of their singles. He's rebuilding or building relationships with radio shows right now to a certain extent IMO which is a good move.
Hopefully the best is yet to come.

I think they made an exception for Noel on the DOYS session as it was the live lounge which usually consists of the current single and a mystery cover, but they let him do the 3 tracks and not bother with a cover - which was a great session by the way and he looked super dapper from what i can remember. I hope he gives something of weight away tonight with Jo, and on a side note i have just noticed Jonathan Ross' new talk show being advertised on ITV for september which could be an absolutely brilliant interview and live performance for the album release.

Well if he only gets to do 1 single I'm sure he'll want it to be the best one. I'd bet IIHAG since he said it sounds amazing acoustically. Good to hear that Ross is going to be coming back. Pity he wasn't around when BDI were promoting. And Noel did just go to David Walliams birthday party with him. Maybe Noel's friendships with the British Comedy Circuit will start coming in handy.

Jo Whiley is on for 1 and 1/2 hours.
Presumably she'll do at least 1 link on her own?

What does Paul Anka have to do with Wonderwall? He covered it. They just played 3 versions of Wonderwall and asked people to name artist doing it. Yes I'm bored. And I listen to far too many versions of Wonderwall.
