....would hardly have anything to do with the fact that Noel and Liam are under the same management would it? To avoid chart/touring clashing.
Noel will have his Amorphous album and gigs out of the way before Beady Eyes next album. So like the klitchko's theres no chance of a country house/roll with scrap, unfortunately./ Great days they were
Sorry am finding this just as un-interesting as you as i type it but felt the need to contribute something as ive been lurking on here for few days now like a confused paedo goat at a 'Kids' nativity
Other points while am at it sure....
*Comparing Beady Eye to High flying birds is boring and pointless * 'If i had a gun' is Slide away/wonderwall all in one and will be massive *New Single is great not spectacular playing it somewhat safe, love it all the same hopefully album will have bit more experimental stuff other than the 5 weve heard so far, even though we havent heard the finished versions which may be mad as fuck, rendering this last point redundant

i seriously doubt BDI has an album out anytime soon, regardless of whatever Liam says.
if BDI were really smart they'd take about a two year hiatus to write a great album.
they should think about it.

To avoid chart clashing? To avoid the fight over whose single gets to #73?
If anything, it's to avoid comparing the two (although people are going to anyway so it doesn't matter)

Yea i dont think either band will trouble the charts singles wise but if "If i had a gun" is released here it will defintely perform better ther than any Beady eye single

I for one hope to god that any Beady Eye/Noel Gallagher chart clash nonsense will be avoided like the plague by all parties. Extremely unlikely I know, with the same management.

I like the way they're doing things though, in this way we always have sth to look forward to, there's always an album coming out in the near future

I think they are coming out when they are because they started working on them about this far apart.
Of course they are being careful about charting.
Some can say, but it would boost sales so much. They could make a lot of money out of it. But the thing is...it would only work once then lose it's novelty. Plus the loser would have lost face irrevocably. Why would a management company want that?
If BDI were to lose the battle their stock would go down. If Noel were to lose ditto. In whcih case you would have cheapened 1 client with only a modicum of a boost to your other client.

There are practical reasons as well, maybe the management can't handle organising two tours and albums at the same time

Really I think the reason for two albums in quick succession, is because the AA album is supposed to be a "companion" to the HFB album. Whatever that means.

Noel's releasing 2 albums in quick succession because:
1. He has the material 2. They are vastly different 3. He doesn't want to shock and isolate his fanbase, so he's releasing an Oasis-sounding album first before he hits us with his experimental second
It's pretty simple, really. There's no ulterior motive, I don't think.

Noel's mentioned the whole process of 'starting over' and to me, it looks as if he's trying to mirror what he did in the early 90s. Write a lot of songs, keep them all away for subsequent albums, and the one important thing: have two albums out really quick. I'm sure if Oasis had taken longer to put out WTSMG, they wouldn't have gotten as large as they did in the 1994 - 1996 period and I think Noel's trying to do this all over again.
at least, that's my theory.

Yeah, but Noel isn't NEARLY concerned about chart success as he once was. I don't think that was his main motive for two quick releases. I'm pretty sure Noel is content to just make the music he wants to make, regardless of where it charts.

With a couple of weeks they were saying this:
Liam: Next album will be out next summer, we like releasing albums in the summer Noel: AA album will be released next summer.
So, someone is going to have to change their plans...

Liam havent even recorded a thing for it(besides the demo's) and Noel has the project ready to go. Think about it(I love this LIB quote).

^^ Andy and Gem said late 2012. Liam always exaggerates. He said the first album would be out June 2010. I expect early 2013 for the album

There's no ulterior motive, I don't think. this is defo basically the reason. he needs to release the HFB album to keep the masses and thus the record company happy. We 'know' from the rumours oneexcitedyoungman etc said in past the AA is the album noel wanted to make, regardless of his 'no interest in commercial success' his mgt and record label are thus the HFB as well
