Is there any way to get that radio to stream here in America? Or will I have to wait 6 minutes until it's up on noelgallagher.com? haha

I wonder what time if at all Radio 1 play it? I know its a really shit station but it would definitely help him in the charts if they push it (yes i care a little bit about the charts)
Did someone say earlier that they re-shuffle their playlist every thursday?

Noel and Chris Evans' feud must be over then. Nothing has been said about Noel going in for an interview. Evans will be contractually obliged to play what is on that days running order, pre-prepared. He'll have very little choice, if any, of what songs get played. He'll probably slag it off when it's finished.

I pretty sure Noel will get a few spins on radio1 from zane lowe.. even the roller got a few spins on radio one from zane lowe, fearne cotton.

The Death of You and Me has been A-listed for four weeks by Radio 2, Absolute, 6 Music etc.
Probably not Radio 1 though.

Cool, i really hope it gets playlisted, i suppose its gonna be down to how good the tune is, or could we do a mass collective e-mail demanding it be? The R1 controller has left now thank god, so you never know - whoever takes over might give indie / rock a bit more attention on the shitty station

The R1 controller has left now thank god, so you never know - whoever takes over might give indie / rock a bit more attention on the shitty station the way r1 choses it's playlist is mainly based on, 1- how well the song is doing on the charts, oasis always use to get listed coz they were big sellers. Same as coldplay they get playlisted for the same reason. itunes is another measure they use to see how well a song is doing eg pre-orders. emailing would help if enough bombarded them with play the death of you and me. the highest audiences for radio stations are here 1. BBC Radio 2 2. BBC Radio 1 3. BBC Radio 4 4. Heart 5. BBC Radio 5 live 6. Capital 7. Classic FM 8. Kiss 9. Magic 10. talkSPORT However radio1 and capital have a more younger demographic which means they tend to affect the charts. Even though radio2 has more listeners (3million more than the 11million that R1 receives).

Yes, Radio 2 is by far the most popular radio station in the UK - it's got a widespread audience but the main listeners are folk who don't know what itunes is. P.S. No surprise to see talkSHITE at the bottom of the pile.

Thanks for the info mad4it, i knew radio 2 had better breakfast listening figures but thats interesting, does that back up the theory of the "young uns" buying the majority of all the music these days as a result of them being less computer savvy with illegal downloads?
Anyway, is anyone up for e-mailing Radio 1 in mass in an attempt to get Sir Noel on their weary playlist?
