Sticks and stones. How bad would the words have to be before grevious bodily harm would be justified? Liam was out of order. 36 year old men shouldn't leave a room, walk down a hall, grab a guitar, walk back, and try to hit their 40 year old brother in the head. I originally thought the guitars had been in the room. To discover that Liam LEFT the fight and either went to his room to get the guitar or just happened to see the guitar and thought "I'm gonna go back and hit Noel with this" is fucking nuts. What is fucking nuts is you assuming it was premeditated. I would imagine - though in no way assume - that they argued, Liam left the room in frustration, picked up his guitar (bearing in mind it was supposedly his prized possession), went back to have it out with Noel again as the argument wasn't over, then anger took over. Not only to people tend not to think rationally when they're angry, but they often don't think at all. Do you seriously Liam thought "I'll go and get my guitar and smash his face in" while they were arguing? Not condoning his behaviour but don't make Noel out to be whiter than white while evil, twisted Liam plotted his downfall. Exactly.

Liam's been in a band professionally since he was 19. The entire Oasis ride was overall pure fun for him, having your brother do most of the work for over a decade while you just show up and sing the songs. Because he entered this as a teenager, Liam never really had to "grow up" or be mature. It's the same thing with child actors and the like. I'd imagine you have to grow up quite quickly when your father hits you and your family has little money. The armchair psychoanalysis going on in this thread of Liam is hilarious. I'm pretty sure having an abusive father made Liam even more childish and cling to his mom...that's not an uncommon phenomenon at all actually. And from everything I've read, it was Noel who would confront his father the most and get the most abuse.

Yeah, I think any assumption of premeditation when it comes to the guitar incident is a bit of a leap.
Still dont get the Pretty Green thing, let him have a page in the (extortionately overpriced anyway) program, it's your band, just do what you normally do then stick an extra page in there. The lengths brothers (older and younger) will go to piss each other off always astounds me.

Neither of us can really say as we don't know the man. Just as we don't know Noel.

Liam didn't get beaten by his father...Paul G says so in his book It was all Noel, Paul, and Peggy. Mostly Noel because he deflected.

Did I miss something or is gd resorted to making things up? You are a psycho! What 30 year old goes and gets a guitar then swings it at someones head? Is that actually acceptable in your world. GET HELP! Either you...or all the people near you need counselling!

Obviously...because 20 years later he attempted to bash his older brother, the one that helped protect him from beatings by said father, with a guitar. He is affected. I'm glad we agree

You are the psycho who is now actually making things up that didn't occur. Your obsession with Noel Gallagher is more likely to require counselling. Its not acceptable its stupid, but you have no real indication of angel noel's involvement in this, Liam refused to go too far on the matter. But you have lapped up every word, for someone so logical/analytical you are very easily led.

Liam didn't go any farther because I think he knew he had snapped and was ashamed. But mostly you are just psychotic to think that that is OK. What's wrong with you?

I said it was stupid. You really have just given in to making up things that are completely untrue. Sad really.

It's intent, my little monkey man. Put the word "trying" in there if it helps you. Either trying OR actually doing the hitting of someone on the head with a guitar is unusual and disturbed behviour in Homo Sapien societies.

You just need to understand that just because someone missed a word typing isn't the end of the world. It still doesn't make your backwards morals right. Be not afraid, you are as morally depraved as you were before.

I'll accept that as long as you promise to remember not to hit anyone over the head with a guitar...or anything really...or trying to hit them. Remember...that is as big a social faux pas
