I get what you're saying. But Liam could have spoken up at anytime. And by the end of Oasis, they were both regularly taking shots at each other. Oh yeah Liam said more and more towards the end. I don't begrudge Liam his moment at the front to say a few things and in all honesty he didn't really say anything that bad. And neither has Noel now. What did he say to deserve the new outpouring of bile? |

Small detail, but thought I'd point it out nevertheless: If I Had A Gun is third on the tracklist, and Noel stated in an interview during the Don't Believe The Truth days (I believe, might not remember correctly), that the third song on the album is always the most important one. Or something like that. Going of this, the song must mean a great deal to him. Can't wait to hear it  I know this is waaay to soon to predict but the demo sounds a bit like The Masterplan and Slide Away I think. May have gotten very different from when we first heard it in '09, but one can hope I was thinking the same things with the third track. Personally I've always thought the fourth track always had Oasis' best songs, but the third tracks are pretty good too. |

so the name of the artist/musical act is officially "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds" and its debut album is actually self titled then ? wow.... Yes. Album and band/artist - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. This will probably change though with the AA album. Better just keeping it as the Noel Gallagher sub board. This is just his 1st effort. |

How do we know that the 2nd album will be 'dance/electronica' style? Because of AA? Even if it is, I think that can be widely interpreted. When Noel Gallagher says he's going to release a 'dance' track, I don't think he means he's gonna release something like the Black Eyed Peas. It just means it'll be more upbeat, faster, and guitar driven. AA are NOT A DANCE GROUP. That is lgfavers spin on it. But he obviously doesn't know them. Electronic does not equal dance. They are experiment electronic rock. As such they do use things like heavy beats at times, but not always and not always dance beats when they do. They aren't guitar based...and Noel is and therein will lay the intrigue. It isn't Noel making a AA album...it's the 3 of them working together to meld styles. It's exciting. Because you could listen to both their outputs and still not know which aspects are going to be taken from what...so the sound is up in the air! There is a dance track on the non AA album though. Which may confuse people. I agree, AA are not a dance group. I've got the Psychedelic Bubble album. I was just puzzled as to why people were saying the 2nd record will be a dance/electronica album. |

Sorry, this is NOT dance music. Although it's fucking good, my feeling is that this is a bit to "weird" (I'm sure there's a better word for it) for your standard dance clubs, that's playing Taio Cruz, Black Eyed Peas, etc. etc. For anyone who hasn't heard the Monsterous Psychadelic Bubble Mix of Falling Down, head on over to youtube and check it out. Like I said, it's really good (Though the female vox on it is not my cup of tea). The fucker is about 18 mins long, and is perhaps a great indication of what we can somewhat expect the second Noel album to be |

It was Liam's preference for Noel to slag him off? Hmmm...I think not. If you are referring to Noel doing the lions share of the press then it was still his choice in all those interview to slag off his brother. It was Liam's preference not to do press. I don't believe he wanted to do press and Noel said no. I think Liam found it easier not to so he didn't. Just like he found it easier not to soundcheck. Easier not to look after his voice. Easier not to lay down his vocals until the end. What are you talking about? Was talking about the comments Noel makes about his brother and vice versa. Not what Liam found easier. I wonder if the Amrphous Andronicus album will be under the name High Flying Birds, obviously the high flying birds are his backing band and it doesn't sound like they're involved with the 2nd album. Maybe that'll just be under his name, so he can have 2 projects that play different styles of music? I agree. Website is just Noel Gallagher. Gives him options & scope to change later on. Also he gets all the money! |

Who said I'm on a side? If Noel had done the same I would have called him on it too. No double standards here. As far as I can tell, NG has been pretty damn quiet since the split, as even when pressed he has acquiesced. What should he say, he LOVES DGSS, and out and out lie? Thought he handled it quite well, actually. I for one am anxious to hear how RM and STC turns out. I doubt NG would have included them if he couldn't get them to turn out as suitable LP tracks. |

That was AA making a AA song out of a NG song. No Noel involvement in the final product really. That was they taking it as far as they could into their territory. I don't think Noel working WITH them is going to be THAT extreme. |
