Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds?! I love it!!! And two albums! This will please everyone - from those who wanted a more conventional sound to those who wanted an all out new experience! Delighted to see that Crouch End Choir and Wired Strings feature.
Oh, and Mike Rowe is back on keyboards! I always wondered what happened to him - haven't seen him in ten years! In a nutshell, can't wait!

Right am gonna throw this out there...am I alone in wishing STC and RM WASN'T on there!! Just a thought, because I'd rather he made a total pull away from Oasis

I think AKA just designates that they are different tracks from the rest of the album. Seems like a mix of acoustic/traditional "songy" tunes and dance/electronic ones.

For some reason I read The AKA... Broken Arrow song as Broken Sorrow. Anyways, Broken Arrow eh? Is Noel missing a nuchlear device by any chance? Oh christ, that was horrible! Really really horrible. I'll go now. Dishes and all that  Broken Arrow is the name of a Neil Young album, so it's probably from that. |

Why would High Flying Birds be trending higher than Noel himself?? Boggles me... Maybe because some people are typing his name without a space as well as with a space? Hurting the overall impact, where you can't really type High Flying Birds without spaces. |

And if LAG can pull from their pre-break Oasis material...why shouldn't Noel if he thinks they're that good? Wait to you hear what he's done with them. If they sound basically the same...I'll moan right along with you. But from the way that he talked about them in the past he had big aspirations for the production on both...and currently they are pretty basic. |

True. I'm definitely open to the album versions of RM and STC blowing my mind, but in their demo forms they did not live up to the hype. Looking forward to seeing what he's done with If I Had A Gun, though. That was the one track I was really hoping would make the cut.

High Flying Birds sounds pretty good already actually...after the intial shock that he isn't just gonna be Noel Gallagher. I like the positive connotations. It's nice. Makes me think blue skies and whispy clouds. It's a nice visual.
