Your tickets will be posted out within the next week or two. Please note that on some occasions it is sometimes necessary to delay tickets being posted to approximately two weeks before the show. This is due to circumstances beyond our control.

If your tickets will be delivered by a registered mail and you're not at home when the postman brings your tickets, he always leave a message in your post box that you have to pick your ticket up in a local postoffice? You do need to show them your ID pass I'm sure.
It can happen that your tickets don't arrive until the day of the gig. In that case you'll have to pick them up at the box office of the venue at the day of the gig.
I ordered my tickets for the Summer Sonic festival last year via a French ticket service office. My tickets didn't arrive before I left for Japan. I called and emailed the company before I left and they told me that they'll send them to Japan. My tickets were still not there a couple of days before the festival. I couldn't just wait, so I went to buy new tickets in a local ticket office. (thank god, it wasn't sold out yet). One day before the festival I got an email from the ticket office that due to circumstances they couldn't deliver tickets on time, so I (and many others) have to pick our tickets at the ticket booth at the day of festival.
I could sell my "original" tickets to 2 boys after I got my "new" tickets.
Believe me, it was very frustrating to not to hold tickets until the day of the festival. I really thought they just picked my money without sending me my tickets.
I hope something like this won't happen to you, songbird. Don't worry, but don't loose your order number.

yeah don't worry i've not received my tickets for gigs until the week before, a few days before or even a day before on some occasions. Last year for V festival i even had to pick my tickets up on the day.
Like Mimmi said, just keep hold of any order numbers, transaction details and correspondance just in case.

thanks for the advice,i just dont understand what was meant by the email though where it says:
Your tickets will be posted out within the next week or two. Please note that on some occasions it is sometimes necessary to delay tickets being posted to approximately two weeks before the show. This is due to circumstances beyond our control.
does it mean i should phone ticketmaster & ask them to post the tickets within 2 weeks before? i just dont understand why.
im going to print of the email with the info & i've made a note of the order number just incase.

No, you don't have to phone to the ticketmaster. Like it said in the email, your ticket will be delivered to you within 2 weeks, but it may get delayed that you get them 2 weeks before the show. If you still don't receive them 2 weeks before the show, then you better phone or email to the ticketmaster.

Hey Mimmi i guess i read the email too quick haha, must've been the excitement,ok there's just one last thing i selected the delivery method where you have to sign for the tickets,if it were that they were'n t sent to the last minute & i had to go there for them would i get my money back for the delivery charge?

I'm afraid not. I didn't get my money for delivery (20 Euro's) back although I didn't ask them for it when I picked my tickets at the ticket booth. Didn't think about it to be honest, I was just happy to get my tickets and could sell my original tickets to 2 boys.
You don't get the delievery charge back if you don't ask them. Easy money for them, eh?
You can try at least if you have to pick your tickets up cos you paid for it and they didn't make the promise to send them to your house.

Tickets are usually sent within two weeks from you purchasing them.
Only on occasion does this change. Usually if the artist is in high demand (U2, Oasis), then the ticket agency will keep hold of the tickets right upto one week before the show. This method of holding tickets is to prevent people selling them on ebay.
