I know Noel refused to put more songs on STC b/c: 1.) They weren't at the end of their career, sony was making them do it 2.) It would seem arrogant compared to Dylan et al
But lets examine, shall we:
DM: 6 songs -----> (RNRS, LF, Columbia, Supersonic, C&A, Slide Away)
MG: 5-6 songs -----> (Wonderwall, DLBIA, SMS, CNS (?),MG, CS
BHN: 3-4 songs
----> (DYKWIM, SBM, DGA, AATW(?))
SOTSOG: 3-5 songs
-----> (GLIO, WFL (?), Gas Panic, WDIAGW, SMC (?)
HC: 3 songs
----> (THT, SCYHO, LBL)
DBTT: 2-3 songs
----> (Lyla, TIOBI, POTQ (?))
DOYS: 5-6 songs
----> (BIU, TT, WFTR, TSOTL, FD, IOT (?)) -------------------------------- --------------------------------
Total: 27 - 33 songs
And we should have 2-3 more albums from the boys at least, which should increase the total by 6-9 songs or so!
Fucking incredible when you think about it. Despite all the stick they've gotten since 1997, they so deserve to be in the hall of fame.
Seriously, they are our generations version of the Beatles.

Right, well.... I don't have anything against STC. It was a contractual obligation. It's a great introductory record to Oasis , but it's nothing for fans.
I like what Protector said.... something cool with rarities is way more exciting. I'm waiting

ok during 63-70 in beatles career,they released the albums,than after 10 years they released double red & blue then over 10 years after anthology's etc.. they didn't release compilations during the time they were makin music as a band.we're lucky to have FTM & STC. for the people that moan about STC most fans dont even buy oasis albums & cd singles they d/l em for free,i guess real fans have the right to moan,us who buy every cd available (like me ) we all have our fave tracks i think All around the world should've been on there,they could've edited it to 5 mins,i bet noel didn't think of that. liam wante drockin chair on it,but that was on the masterplan so i dunno,overall it's a 10/10 compilation,if any of you's haven't bought it yet,go to oasisinet there's a sale on of all their cd singles & albums.

Are ya kidding? The Beatles had fucking loads of compilations released while they were still a fully functioning band.

You've not put Whatever or a single B-Side on there, despite the fact that they are renowned for having amazing B-Sides, even if you just took the one's that are already on STC. There is also no way that Songbird would not be on there, and it should be - it's a good song.

The better question is what songs will they put on a shitty 11-track greatest hits album? You know, the ones Wal-Mart sells exclusively.

Since it was released, STC has now just become a stepping stone to much greater things!
