Oasis Live and Studio Holy Grail Tracks
Just thought about a list of “realistic” Live and studio recorded tracks that us fans would like to get hold of. What other “realistic” tracks can you think of?
Here the tracks I could think of:
10th May 2005 Astoria; London, UK Headshrinker (Only performance on that tour)
Stop The Clocks (Liam Vocal)
Jan 2003 Sawmills Studios, Cornwall Death In Vegas DBTT Album Sessions
2002 Musique Plus, MuchMusic Interview including Hindu Times acoustic (Full Version)
Mustique Island Demo Tape May 1996
1st October 1995 Virgin Megastore; Oxford Street, London, UK Short acoustic gig at midnight to promote the launch of the (What’s the Story?) Morning Glory album.
24th June 1995 The Acoustic Stage; Channel 4, Glastonbury Festival 95, Glastonbury, Somerset, UK Roll With It (Noel solo acoustic backstage)

I would kill for that headshrinker bootleg... Why? Liam only managed the first 40 odd seconds apparently.

Could add Liam Sung DLBIA to that. Probably about as likely as getting a hold of a Liam sun STC.

There's a ton of gigs from the last few years I'd love to get the multitracks from and mix properly for fans to have... Saturday night at Finsbury and Milton Keynes 2005 in particular. Sunday night at Finsbury and City of Manchester are both available with identical setlists to the ones I mentioned, but the band was so much better the nights before.

I could only imagine a Liam sung STC...let's wait for a properly released Noel recording of it.
Anyone hear of where to find that midnight MG gig? That would be great

Don't forget Just Getting Older from Cardiff '02. I think Noel dedicated it to Gem or something?
Headshrinker from Astoria is a bootleg I really wanna hear. Even if it sounds like an epic failure!
And then I'd wanna hear tracks of Noel sung tracks, but only with Liam on vocals. Mucky Fingers, Force Of Nature, Stop The Clocks, Little By Little, and last but not least, Don't Look Back In Anger. I guess some of these must exists?

Oh, and about this:
2002 Musique Plus, MuchMusic Interview including Hindu Times acoustic (Full Version)
I guess this must be lying in the archives of Mustique plus and roting away. I find that a pretty anoying thought! I looked through their site, but I it was on french, so I didn't have a clue about how to find even the information on contacting them.
If we get some information about how to contact them, and enough members on here send e-mails requesting that the whole song will be broadcast, well, we might at least get an answer out of them? At least we should try it right?

They would just have to bring it up out of their archive and put it up on Youtube or something ffs.

- Noel playing bittersweet symphony at some kosovo charity thing in 1998. - The rest of the boot from the first night at the SBE in 2001 where Weller played on champagne supernova - Montreal 2002 (just because it was my first oasis show and a bootleg never surfaced, and they had to restart four separate songs) - some tracks from the death in vegas sessions in 04 (05?)
I'm sure there's more...

I would kill for that headshrinker bootleg... Why? Liam only managed the first 40 odd seconds apparently. I was at this gig and i can tell you that Liam sang the whole song. It was very fast and much more heavy then when they would play it back in 95'. I imagine they stooped playing it for the same reason they stopped playing "My Big Mouth" this year. As for Liam sung, Noel sung, songs: the only songs that have been confirmed that liam did a vocal of are: Stop The Clocks Little By Little Magic Pie Mucky Fingers Lord Dont Slow Me Down The Fame

actually I remember reading that Liam refused till the last secnd to sing Little By Little, then he regret it... I think the studio version would sound a million times better in his voice.... anyway Headshrinker must have sound awesome

Don't forget Just Getting Older from Cardiff '02. I think Noel dedicated it to Gem or something? Yep, I was there, a gorgeous solo acoustic version. It was Gem's birthday around the time and he wryly dedicated it to him. I think it was one of the first gigs after Liam got his teeth knocked out.

You would sound good on "Sunday Morning Call" Well, I tried singing it, but I think that's Noel's favourite, his little beauty. I think it means a lot to him.
It's the most melodic song on the album. Yeah, well, I sang it and it's like I was singing it a bit too hard. I can't sing soft. ... And then he done his version of it and I went, 'A, fuck, I'm not gonna get in an argument about it. - Liam -00

I think with some I'm Outta Time-esque vocals on it, it would've sound incredible!
