well, it's nice to see... we all know how the UK iTunes store goes about promotion regarding Oasis, but the U.S. store ? now, as soon as you enter the store you'll see a banner saying "get tomorrow's hits today" or something like that with a picture of the band. then if you go to the "Rock" genre part of the page, you see a full size picture @ the headline of the store featuring Liam and co. which reads "pre order" the new album and so on....
seems like Warner is doing it's job. awesome!

yeah, all that is true, but i am a bit worried about what NOel said, thinking nothing after the first single will get played much on the radio, and i mean he was obviously referring to the UK, imagine how bad it would be here in the States, damn...

Yeah, unfortunately, your account is locked to your country. I haven't pre-ordered it since I intend on getting it on a physical format. But anyways.... I got one of those annoying email ads from Itunes for "New Music Tuesday" I usually just delete these but they listed Oasis first in the subject line. They also mention them first in the little spiel about new upcoming albums. I hope this indicates more promotion of Oasis in the US...

Falling Down has now surpassed Wonderwall on the rock charts (22 and 30 respectively). wow!! just saw that, awesome! Wonderwall has always been up there throughout all these years but it's great to see "Falling Down" up there, i must say however that BELIEVE IT OR NOT "Lord Don't Slow me Down" the video made it to top 10 on iTunes(yes U.S. iTunes!) last year so... then it shortly fell off after a couple of weeks but then again, it didn't have any radio support . Who know what will happen with this new album.

yeah Lord Don't Slow Me Down was the number 1 rock video for a short time. I believe Nickleback's rockstar knocked it off. Hopefully it gains some more steam.

Just a question for interest sake. The photo of Oasis shown on the itunes site (and basically all over for promo) finally caught my attention. If it was discussed before, my apologies. I just noticed that with the way the lighting hits all the guys, it makes them look a lot younger. This is most noticeable with Noel. He is the furthest in the back, and well, it's him, but I don't see any creases or wrinkles. I am not saying he is a wrinkly old man, but I was curious if this was done purposely to appeal to a younger crowd?
Any thoughts?

I actually heard people saying Noel looks ancient in that, so who knows. but that's awesome to see on american iTunes! screenshot for anyone who's wondering...
