we can barely hear the guitar riff or even the guitar solo. also those "la la la la's" in the outro are very fainted.
not slagging the song cos i love it but i think that there are some details that could make the difference

I like how you can actually hear the drums now.
I also like how it's less focused on the guitars and more so on the overall sound.

Noel is specifically avoiding guitar solos since Be Here Now... it's not a Sardy thing... too bad because that itsy little guitar solo reminded me of some Morning Glory stuff and then just went away in 3 seconds... I still love the song.

yeah. noel gallagher is god but after be here now and the end of the drug era, he became quite self-conscious in his song-writing.

It would have been nicer with more emphasis on the guitars. Comes off sounding too soft and even pop-like as it is.

I like the way it sounds, I'd just like the burst of guitar at the end to come through clearly.

I mentioned this in another thread. As I said in there, those little things are what takes a good song (TSOTL) and makes it great (RNRS). That guitar solo NEEDS to be there...just like a song needs to rhyme for the listener to have that feeling of satisfaction, sometimes there's an opening for something monumental and it's frustrating to see it half assed IMO. Imagine It's Gettin Better (Man!) without those 2 solos, but instead just a full blown rhythm guitar. It wouldn't be nearly as good
