Hey, I'm really looking forward to catching the lads live in England. As I'm sure the rest of you situated in the U.K. are! However being a poor Gap Year student I have no idea about the quality of each venue and I'm not sure which one to go. Can people provide suggestions for best venue to see them in?
Cheers!
Heres a list...
Liverpool Echo Arena (October 7, 8) Sheffield Arena (10, 11) Birmingham NIA (13, 14) London Wembley Arena (16, 17) Bournemouth BIC (20, 21) Cardiff International Arena (23, 24) Belfast Odyssey Arena (29, 30) Aberdeen Exhibition Centre (November 1, 2) Glasgow SECC (4, 5)

I was at the Odyssey in December. Floor standing. Great sound from where I was. Great venue all around.

I'll be making the trip across the pennines for the Sheffield gig on the 11th (my birthday), and hope a can talk the other half into doing the 10th and making a weekend out of it.
Never been to the venue before though.

I've seen them 3 times at Sheffield Arena (Be Here Now, Heathen Chemistry, DBTT) and it's a really shit soulless venue. Expect to get covered in beer by pissed up twats.
Considering seeing them there again this time, but dunno, might see if anything else is announced.

It's gonna have to be Sheffield.
And as much of a c*nt as the arena is to get to, it certainly beats venturing into fucking Merseyside.

Expect to get covered in beer by pissed up twats. Happens at every Oasis gig, mate - not just in Sheffield. If you think it's bad there you ought to come to Manchester. Not that it makes a difference, really. Little bit of beer isn't going to stop me enjoying myself. And I'm usually down the front sweating buckets anyway, so it's hardly noticeable.

You can try and barge your way to the front, but if you want a decent spot I'm afraid you're going to have to sit through all of the support acts, regardless of how piss-poor they might prove to be.

Jesus. The last time I saw them we turned up at Sheffield Arena about half an hour before the doors opened and practically sauntered to the front.
Stadium gigs are an entirely different kettle of fish, mind. For those I'd suggest two hours of queuing just to ensure you get fairly close to the front.

Stadiums are easy to get to the front.....never go directly head on, stay to the left or right you can pretty much walk up toward the front.

I tend to creep forward in stages - usually between support acts - and then barge my way to the front during the chaos that ensues as the headline act kick into their first song.
Works like a charm. ;D

Yeah you have to keep edging forward, I still stick to the sides as you have slighlty more breathing space.

At Glasgow we were there at 2pm and they came on at 9pm It was worth it though And yes there was beer and someone tried to have a pee right in front of me (but I started screaming) and then this guy threw up at my feet....... Got over it though. Fantastic day.
