Oh yeah... I'm guessing they will. This is their last chance at milking the Oasis cash cow, and a greatest hits with Wonderwall, CS, etc could actually sell well over here to the fairweather fans who didn't know they put anything out after BHN.

I dont know how much you guys know about the music industry, but things like Stop The Clocks are made primarily for the CD clubs. Sony (BMG) will make bundles on mail orders with this cd through cd clubs and will not have to pay a penny of advertising. I'll be my ass they are going with Columbia for the next 2 or 3 records, and that is for obvious reasons, but the most obvious is Columbia House and the potential profits there. CD clubs are still pretty big business. Look at things like the first Def Leppard greatest hits, Chili Peppers greatest hits, the Doors Soundtrack, Eagles Greatest Hits, these are all heavily pushed by cd clubs and you'll find them in the top 200 selling albums of all time because of this. Stop The Clocks wont do that well on Billboard in America, but in two years it will still shift a few hundred thousand units in just cd clubs.

One I didn't consider, but it does seem like just the kind of album the CD-club mailers will push strongly.
