Fantastic - should teach the unwilling and unfaithful out there. Brings certain degree of hope. I reckon I'm not an expert on the subject or anything...but I believe there's not been any armed actions from IRA in almost a decade, however the fact they give up their guns for good, tells you they really wanna talk it over and go through the process the way it should be.
Best of luck and wishes to all the Irish, hope everything works for the best.

the ira are alot bigger than any of the loyalists, well they were, and in fairness, theyre also a lot smarter, this effort is one great jesture, we new it would come sooner rather than later, but i didnt think at all for one minute it would happen so quickly, hopefully some pressure will now be put on the loyalists, although smaller scale than the ira, its mostly gang-esk, drugs etc, scaring chip shops, but all in all differently progress is being made (but how many times have we said that over the past 15 years)

me to, there is no proof nor will there ever be proof. and at the end of the day its the ordinary people that loose out in these conflicts. i hope both sides can stop the criminal activity and focus on politics but i just can't see it happening.

Stories are now filtering through, that Gerry and the peacelovers kept 300 Pistols and Rifles behind, in case of attacks by Security forces or Loyalists.
