the things that complicate our lives.... * NOTE : SIMPLIFICATION MEANS ALL DIFFERENT THINGS FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE. it cld range from living in the woods in a cabin to simply freeing up more time for yourself... part one : identify what they are... here's some - generally speaking 1.) big houses 2.) big payments 3.) high maintenance cars 4.) multiple credit cards 5.) national debt 6.) not enuff time with friends and family 7.) relationships that do not work 8.) grudging co-workers 9.) working too many hours 10.) having too much stuff go on, what else....

I DO UNDERSTAND... but counterview...... you & dave can change the world , one child at a time... PEACE STARTS IN YOUR HOME LUV, trust me... ps on our gossipy note.. did you see Angelina Jolie picking up her baby girl from africa ? wow.... what an inspiration. I don;t care if she is filthy rich or whatever.. she adopted a baby girl who is HIV positive.. that is MEGA !

Yeah, she's a fruit bat and everything but she's given them two little kids a life. I didnt know the little girl was HIV positive, i knew she was an aids orphan but not that she had the virus.
As for me, i'm not maternal at all for kids, dogs and animals are my cup of tea !!!!!!!!

ah if people choose to have a big house, lots of stuff etc...I say go for it. I'm with Lions on his comments. As for hatred in this world, it would be great if Life was simple, and it didn't exist. But it does. And as for Peace...It's 2005, not the 1960's and even then. it didn't work. But its a nice thought.

OH I am all for it - creating the lives we want... and we all like nice things that last and make us feel good. ppl take pride in their homes, 4 sure ! we are all different... what is true and works for one person may be different for another... just wanted to clear it up. yes I see what you mean, world peace and all. girls who get drunk and throw up at breakfast Lions- u ruining yet another thread. no need to talk about recent girlfriend. Tam- Yeah everyone has their own opinion. I just think that many people still live in a fantasy and think peace and love are an option. Not the way the world is turning, which is sad but true. As for me...its a busy summer. ;D

I live life simple. I don't really care about a lot of things, except about the people I love. And when there's nothing wrong with them, my life's extremely simple.

I liked currian's ideas from another thread... they fit here..
simple things he enjoys...
I like; - lying in my hammock - watching telly while lying in my hammock - drinking beer while lying in my hammock - eat crisps while lying in my hammock - going to see my girl - going to the beach to lie on my towel - surfing (the internet since waves are few in Holland) - going on holiday (it's Crete this year) - looking back on the football season - looking forward to the new football season - looking back on the year, school in particular - thinking how bad it is to have a job - to bore my father with stupid jokes I read on the internet
And that's about it.
