dixonhill just posted something bout a terrorist attack in london so i flip thru and land on nbc. the reason i'm posting this is because i dont think its appropiate to rant in a serious thread like that but here we go. the motherfuckers are saying the ira is protestant. the g8 was in scotland which is about 100 miles away from london. they're saying the tube is like a new york rip off
what the fuck is wrong with these people. i thought you needed an education to erm educate people. obviously not, and this is why i do not watch the news

Most of the time the senior producers are not available right away and the researchers are running around with there heads cut off. Spend a few hours in a newsroom and then come back and post some sense, thanks

My 2 cents. STAY FAR AWAY from Fox 5 news.. biggest bunch of propoganda in this current time. some1 owns that ass ! DC educated ppl and " experts in the field" LAUGH at the US news ! Trust me. SO much WRONG info. Slanted views. I WILL WATCH NEWS if it is real news. REPORTING OF FACTS I am OK with. BUT NOT AN OPINION ! you will hear facts for about 1-2 days here, then the networks compete for SENSATIONALISM ! AND DRAWS LINES AND CONNECT DOTS that do not exist ! sorry, nothing against news workers and journalists. A noble job actaully. they are not the problem, rather their higher ups ! we all know this. NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO, BBC AND C-SPAN.

it's called breaking news, incase you haven'w watched TV for a while, networks go live trying to beat eachother with unconfirmed reports with whatever reporter is available to go on air. Spend a few hours in a newsroom and then come back and post some sense, thanks That's still no excuse, though. He has a very valid point; it doesn't matter if that's the common practice in news orginizations its still irresponsible. I could argue all day about why this sorry state of affairs in newsmedia today (culture of fear, general impatience, and the preponderance of independent idiots posting "news" and opinions willy-nilly all over the 'net). And yeah, Tam, for my money, NPR is about the only place I'll get my news anymore.

I agree there should be a highly educated person relaying the news to us though. They sometimes look like pin heads but I am seeing this across all the news networks..... an educated viewer is the solution to all of this . cheers

AND as much as I can AFFORD to slag off the news networks and the media (in other countries you wld get killed or raped for speaking out), I am grateful at the same time for journalists, news workers, trench workers, it is a VERY important job. etc. 3.) One of my BEST friends/college roomie works for NBC in Raleigh.. oh her stories ! Peace.. Let there be love too !

I actually think Fox is very fair, yet it seems many here don't agree. shadow, come on! fox is far from fair- they are radically right wing! they shift everything to the right and make the democrats look like heartless twats, when they know it's just the opposite. i don't know about you, but i watch the daily show and i feel more informed than people who watch cnn, fox news or us network news

I find it difficult to believe anyone would swallow the shite that comes out of it

Leftys will never have big names like conservatives cos their views are so idiotic Geraldo, Greta, Colmes, Lis Wiehl just too name a few, all lean a bit to the left on Fox More than I can say for CNN for conservatives And too STARFISH: O'Reilly may be an ass but he doesn't fuck around. He gets on Bush's case just as much as any liberal . Bill likes John Stewart and has him on the show now and again

Personally people I like for anchors Keith Oberman ( makes news interesting by his comments) Nancy Grace, and Peter Jennings. CNN was leaning a lot to Democrats, but they have lean towards republicans past year. To me CNN really goes back and forth compare to fox and MSNBC. Speaking MSNBC they had some most wonderful people like John McEnroe and Phil Donahue. Though they hired many anchors from seattle little over a year ago.
