Wired on coke and life savers and other assorted candies at 12 AM, I asked my drummer if he wanted to quickly try Married With Children. He had only heard the song twice, but worked out a really simple part. The cover is OK - we've made better stuff. but here it is. s7.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1P1OBGVOXC92F1TPF8IW72K706

I honestly think that you should get urself a new drummer. Seriously, his drumfills were horrible and I don't think I heard him put down a single one of them right...

coke. as in coca cola ;D lol oh sorry! Ok then - stay off the Coca cola regardless of the drummer's quality - when you're recording a song you need to have some balance between the sounds of the different instruments. Practically all you can hear is drums... you'd be better off recording it with just the guitar and vocals then we could give you some better feedback

the only way I can record is with one microphone plugged directly into the computer's Line in port. I use MusicMatch Jukebox Plus to record direct to wav, and if i am feeling up to it, will go through a complicated process of overdubbing using windows movie maker. I just got Adobe audition 1.5 which has 128 track recording, but I only have one line in. My friend who is the good guitarist in the band (not me) has a 4 track recorder, but he wasn't there. also, we need some microphones, and need to get all this crap for $90
any suggestions anyone?

I think you should record with maybe the drums in the back of the room and the guitar and microphone amp closer to the mic
