well i've looked at some pics and they look pretty small so i'd guess 9's... may i ask, have you learnt to speak in sentences yet?

he plays 12s rotosound! he said that his old sotsog mate paul strangeboy stacey told him that it would make his les paul sound fatter,which it does.as he only plays few solos mainly strumming.

He uses 12 gauge in recordings and 10 gauge in concerts.

he's clearly not english mate, give him a break. yeah i forgot this wasn't all american/english... sorry dude i've just started using 9's now. They give you a lot more space on the fretboard and bend so much better. I play a lot quicker when doing solos using them now

it all depends which guitar he is using...the es-355 probably 10 or 11s to bring out the natural sound of the semi hollow....his les paul probably 9 or 10s and his main acoustics like his gibson s9 or takamine probably mediums to medium heavy for that loud crisp sound we all know and love. im sure the same things goes for the martin hes playing more often now. only he really knows....depends whats more comfortable for him.
