oasis, rolling stones, beatles, led zep, strokes. etc.. one thing about strokes is it's hard for me to play the song on guitar and sing it at the same time...bit of acrobatics for me I guess.

Lennonlives82: the Strokes are sometimes hard to sing while playing guitar 'cos the songs are written for a singer who doesn't play an instrument. This I've found to be the case for Idlewild and some Stone Roses tracks... I've got round these problems though, guess you'll get there too.

i dont sing along to strokes while playing. i dont really sing along to any songs i play. depends! even not on yer acoustic? I love to play these sad songs like SCYHO or take me away or strawberry fields or acrooss the universe on my acoustic. On my electric i only wanna play cool riffs and solos, and never play just chords and sing along...

I actually managed to get the chorus of reptilia right on. ;D ironically oasis tracks are EXTREMELY easy to play and sing even though they have a seperate singer...but they weren't usually written with liam in mind. yea, on the electric i don't really play chords as much as i like van halen stuff or stevie ray vaughan...electric guitar is a completely different situation.
