1. where do you place the capo? i.e when it says on the fourth fret, do you place it on the vertical line wich indicates where the fourth fret is, or do you place it in the opening (where you play)?
2. Can you trust official tab books, or are they sometimes wrong?

1. Place the capo about 1 centimetre behind whichever fret it says. So if it said the 4th fret - place it in between the 3rd and 4th fret, making sure you get a clean sound from all strings 2. Official tab books can vary from accurate and reliable, to downright abysmally wrong. Basically, if it sounds wrong, it usually is wrong - despite what the so-called 'official' book says. IMO, you're best off searching several sites on the net to find the best tab www.tabrobot.comis good for searching multiple sites!

don't use 'easy guitar'. they change the key into easy chords like C, A, and G.

Don't waste your money on official books; you can get all the tabs you need online...that tabrobot search engine is fantastic, just use that. I'm glad I stumbled on this thread, because tabrobot is my new best friend
