Now Australia gets to hear what Jet is all about. The Melbourne quartet's debut album, Get Born, is out today. The latest hyped-to-billy-o band to emerge from the New Rock revival, Jet has followed in the footsteps of the Vines to build a huge following in Britain and are being hailed the Next Big Thing. The boys can already boast hob-knobbing with music royalty. Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher and US singer Beck have turned up to their gigs and Beatles keyboardist Billy Preston played on their album. "Noel was a bit of a highlight," lead singer Nick Cester said. "He's a really nice guy, really chilled."
