Some of the new digital cameras can go video to camera and you record onto your tape on the camera then you put it through your computer as if you had just videoed something.

The camera must have a DV-in connection to do this. Some of the newer ones will even go directly from VCR to camera to computer without copying onto the tape.

The quality will only be as good as the VHS tape.
