what port do you want to use? do you have a tv card or tv output? i have a flat screen HD tv that has a seriel port on the side similar to the ones on the back of the computer. i also have a tv that just has the red,white, and yellow pins for audio and video

you need a tv card on your computer to watch tv similar to this one. I'm guessing it should bring the cable with it when you buy it. if not, go to an electronics/computers shop and ask for something like this: hope this helps

no, i dont want to watch TV on my computer. I want to play movies that are stored on my computer through my TV.

what is the make and model of your tv? and also, you will need a pc a/v output, maybe one on your 3d card (if you have one), if not, then you will need a card that allows this output.
