Got one of those fancy new Intel-Mac computers? You can now put Windows onto it with the help of-who else?-Apple! Apple has a program called Boot Camp which allows windows to be booted on the intel mac computers www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/Now if only Microsoft would create the inverse of this program; allow OSX to be booted on regular PCs!

First all those mac-lovers used to say their processors were better than anything intel ever made, now they can't stop singing intel's praises. Now they are doing the same with windows.

No need to argue. But, it still lacks the software programs that windows has. So, ill put this is simple terms for you, you can now by a mac, and not worry about not being able to run certain software. All you have to do is use the windows.

Trust me no one with a mac is singing any windows praises, and the only reason that mac switched to the intel chip is because their amazing processors got too hot and needed a big cooling system which is fine in a big desktop but it didn't allow them to put it into a lapton, so they switched to the intel chip. And using windows on a mac really isn't needed you can get along just fine without windows the only reason I could see anyone using it is for games or other products that try to shaft mac users

its crazy; the xbox 360 from Microsoft uses a Power PC processor, which is what Apple used to use.

Smart move by apple. Macs are great (have you seen the new imac, once you see and try one you will want one, well I do anyway) but the software to run on them is limited so this just increases the options. Mind you with the new imac you get ilife which is pretty impressive, even allows you to edit and create your own DVD's with menus. You can also photcast. We'll I'm impressed anyway. Iv'e got nothing to do with apple I promise but I'm just going through this whole thing right now as my PC is just about to crash big time so I'm looking at what to replace it with. Probably a new imac .

Probably a new imac . ive an intel imac, best change ive ever made. its so much easier to do simple tasks and for a start, the mac loads within a few seconds, whereas i was waiting for 5-8mins plus for my PC to load up fully. ive also ordered a tvmini for my imac, allows me to watch/record freeview to my mac - pause live tv/teletext etc, record onto dvd/timers, so now my dvd recorder is redundant . i bought my imac esp for video editing, and its not let me down once. its so much easier to edit and burn dvds on a system that was designed with these tasks in mind.
