not itunes fault, but could be apple related, at least it eventually detects it, mine hasent been detected in about 3 weeks, and im not the only one with this problem, it fuckin sucks, not being able to put any new tunes on your pod, fuckin sucks

I can't believe there's not an option in iTunes for "Search for Device" or something

hard boot it. the same thing happened to me, and hard booting it worked.
