My computer's been acting up so to be safe I want to back up all my Oasis bootlegs on MP3 CDs or DVDs, and I have about 50 GB worth. I know this is pretty basic stuff but I've never tried this before.
Part of the problem is that every time I try to access the CD drive from My Computer I get "Please insert a disk into drive F." I have a DVD drive as well but I think it does the same thing. Strangely enough I use Acoustica CD Burner every now and then and it works fine.
I want to get everything in subfolders like it is on the hd so I know where everything is.
Also how many CDRs or DVDRs will I need?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

dvds hold around 4.3 gbs - unless you have a dual layered writer - which with the rights discs you could write just over 8gb on a disc. or like me - it may be better and more efficent if you got an external harddrive - usb2 or firewire - so you can backup not just your oasis stuff, but other stuff - you can backup when you want and you can move the HD to a safe place or give to someone for safe keeping. ;D hope thats a help $
