they refused to fix my ipod mini, that died becuase of internal program failure, and battery death, because there was a craic in the screen, becuase they said there is a small chance that "gas imetions" could affect perfromance, so i paid £179 for about 6 months use, i feel robbed, i hope apple gets bombed, or i get the chance to buy a stolen new 30gb just to rop them off

it just stops working if you dont update it. thats a fuckin joke. Once i paid my £250 i expected it to work, not keep crashing on me an telling me download more stuff. What about the poor buggers who dont use the net? theyre just gonna be lumbered with a useless peice of white shite.

I don't think you nesscessarily need an iPod to have iTunes. As long as the songs are in a format the Mp3 player can support theres no reason you can't use the two.

My iPod mini fell out my back pocket and has broken.. i'm sending it off to be fixed soon, otherwise i might get an iRiver or something like that.. i only had a 4gb one anyway.. i have about 30gb of music on my PC

My one broke after 2 weeks, it fell off the back of a lorry though, so I cant complain.
The battery life really did suck the 'wanger.

My brother had exactly the same problem...A little Ipod Icon with crosses for the eyes and a sad mouth...Darty (a french store) changed it without any problems..I supposed that it was not the first time it happens...They changed already 2 times his Ipod...
I've got mine since may and he's still ok *crossingfingers*
