with belfastdons help i have installed bittorrent & am now d/lin tokyotimes dvd from torrentspy
questions:-
1) why did it tell me i had to log on to bootleg.org? is it cos torrentspy is just like a search engine & of the list of oasis stuff i found searchi there much of it is on bootleg.org?
2) in that case presumably i need to stay logged on to bootleg.org all the tim i d/l torrents
3) where is the best single source for oasis bootleg torrents?

right i use shareaza for torrent downloads - www.shareaza.com/?Version=2.1.0.0 its free for torrent searches i use the following sites www.dimeadozen.org/index.phpwww.torrentspy.com/default.aspthepiratebay.org/browse.phptorrentreactor.net/www.uknova.com/any one of these has lots of oasis vids and audio on it shareza is a combined p2p and torrent client - totally spyware free the important thing with shareaza is that it is set up properly, go into the seeting and spend a bit of time working on the setting making sure that it is able to accept torrent d/l and connect to p2p and edonkey i have used it for years without a problem once installed and set up you will not need another torrent client i dont know why it is sending you to bootleg.org, mine doesnt and never has |

also mar, i have found that running shareaza and soulseek at the same time can cause the odd problem because shareza uses a lot of the pc when its running
in the settings make sure it is not running when your not using it

thanks all got it sussed now
the only disappointing thing is the speeds are v slow altho i realise the go up & down i got 4 torrent dls on the go and they are allin single sigit kbs speeds
dilly boy 1 of em is u2 anahem 4 cam dvd have u seen it & is it v good?

Will using torrents/downloading all the applications needed to use them, ie BitTorrent and Azureus, mess up my computer?  I used to use kazaa but it totally destroyed my computer and I had to erase the whole hard drive and start over new  so now I'm a quite afraid of downloading things... |

Nah mate I've been using bitcomet for ages and haven't had any problems at all. Plus your anti virus software should detect anything like if its corrupt etc. Plus you can always scan the files once you've finished the download to make sure. I think www.download.com promise that anything they link you to doesn't contain spyware etc so I'd download a bittorrent from there. |

got manchester 2/7 proshot on vcd
now iv got the hang of torrents im upgradin my collection
just burned this
i get message
"backup file vts_01_0.bup should be identical to vts_01_0.ifo"
"dvd video files compliance test failed"
can anyone help? should i try to get replacement bup & ifo files from some kind soul-an if so can anyone do that for me?
