here's what you have to do:

download BitTorrent

www.bittorrent.com/

Then download a bittorrent client application such as Azureus:

azureus.sourceforge.net/

You can associate azureus with torrent files.

When these are installed, click on a torrent link. A message box will appear asking to open or save. When you click open, it should open azureus and then prompt you to save the file in a particular directory. Choose a directory and you will begin downloading!

When you are finished downloading keep it open so that other people can get it from you.

Seeder = somebody who finished downloading, and is now sharing for other people to download
Peer = somebody who hasnt finished downloading, but is also sharing with others.

Well its just the same as downloading from something like Kazza, except you can download an album in 1 and you don't have to download songs individually.

The files could be Mp3, WAV etc. You sometimes get things that are FLAC files, but thats only if they're live, and you can still burn them, just that they will be very big files. Its just like downloading normally really, no special files or anything..
