My Avatar won't work. (Read 372 times)

I can't get my avatar to work. I had one, then the picture was replaced by a white box with a red cross in it, now, when I try to put another one up, I can't. I do the usual stuff, like pasting the code into the avatar box but nothing will appear.

Can anyone help me please coz I don't want a boring profile with no avatar.

Where have you uploaded it to?

Try Image Shack at the bottom of the homepage (I'm sure you already know about that)

Then you get like 5 links or something right? Well put the last one in the avatar thing in your profile without the code. You dont need that.

No, not really, that's one of the pictures that comes with the site. I just did what you said, and no picture showed up.

Where you can select a pre set picture in modify profile, I have that set on no avatar and my u/l avatar won't come up. I have it selected on a picture and the selected picture comes up and not my avatar.

Getting pissed of with it now.

Hmmm thats strange.

Put this in the avatar url box and see if it works

Its my one, if that doesnt work PM webby and ask him what the hell is going on.

If it does work, there must be something wrong with the url your using for your pic.

i had this a few weeks ago - my prob was that i put an url in for custom avatar and it just didnt appear

i just uploaded my image again and again and used different uploaders until it worked - i think tinypic worked in the end.
