Is all those threads with hundreds of pages. I'm aware that I dont post alot, but seeing all that does put me off quite abit. It also seems like their the only ones people really read. I come here intent on posting quite often, but every time I do theres more and more of those threads. Is there any way of creating another forum for them or clipping them abit?
I know its abit cheeky saying that when I dont post alot, but I thought you might like to know my opionion incase others think the same.

You can go to much smaller forums with 500 members or so and see that they already have 150 k posts ( 80% crap ). I think L4E is very low on total crap posts compared to other fan forums...but let me know what you meant ...thanks

oh, I see. I think one or two of them were started by some members with the exact goal of them becoming monster threads...guess every forum needs one or two. If you have a general post which could go into "just say anything" you could always just start a new post with new headers so it doesn't get lost in the long thread.
I will start editing posts (deleting) if I see them effecting the forums loading speed but we're doing fine right now, thanks for your input.

i can see your point, heathen. It must be hard for a newbie to post in those threads - i know i feel the same on other forums. but they're just general daily threads where people post random comments - join in! its either have the long threads - or find people's insane ramblings creeping onto all the threads in the forum. and we dont want normal threads killed.... *cough
