the yellow ribbon on my forum's lower half is for all the involved parties to return home safe. It may represent any party you wish it to be. War politics topics usually turn ugly so I'll just keep it at that ....
thanks for your post!

nobody likes war and i hope its over soon with as few casualties as possible, but i'm still in favour of it.
people like saddam hussein don't understand anything else but war. diplomacy is useless to these evil dictators - they don't care about freedom, democracy or human rights. he is a war criminal who should have been removed after the first gulf war. Its a shame on the international community that they've let him remain in power.
War is the only solution to deal with these evil people. 12 years of diplomacy failed and during that time hundreds of thousands of civilians died at his hands. No matter how many civilians are killed during the war, the number will never be as great as the number he has killed or would kill if he remained in power.

I agree with DS, nobody likes war. But in todays times with a dictator like Saddam brutalizing his own people and cheering suicide acts like 911 and the bombings Israeli's endure all the time, we need to take action. This is not a man who thinks rationally.
The similarites between Saddam, and Hitler are all too real, and the sooner he is overthrown and his people freed from his terrorizing ways the better. I hope that the casualties are minimal, which are an unfortunate part of any war.
